
Caper & Dill Creamy Chicken
A tasty, full flavored protien that is easily paired with a rice or pasta.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic (fresh pressed is best)
- 2 Chicken Breasts (salt & peppered)
- 1 Cup Chicken Stock
- 4 tbsp Capers
- 2 tsp Tyme
- 1/4 cup Vertical Roots Dill
- 2/3 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Vertical Roots Kale
Instructions
- Heat a pan to medium heat and add butter, melt down
- Add in minced garlic and cook for 30-40 seconds or until fragrant
- Add in chicken breasts and sear on both sides, golden brown
- Add in 1/2 the chicken stock and place the lid on to cook through on low medium heat.
- Once the chicken is almost fully cooked, remove from the pan and let rest
- Add in the rest of the chicken stock, capers, tyme and dill. Cook and scrape any brown bits of the bottom
- Add in the heavy cream, add the chicken back in and simmer until sauce is cooked down and thicker.
- To finish and bulk up the greens, add in kale or spinach or swiss chard, chopped up and wilt down and SERVE.
