Turkey Sliders with Basil Aioli
Bursting Brightness! This Turkey Slider will be a go too with its lean protein and vibrant sauce. Add this to your summer BBQ season immediatley .

- 1 Mini Food Processor
Ingredients
Basil Aioli
- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Vertical Roots Canada Basil
- 1 large Lemon – juiced
- 2 cloves Garlic (peel off)
Turkey Slider
- 4 Whole Grain Slider Buns
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 4 Flame Grilled Roasted Red Peppers – drained and dry. (jarred)
- 4 leaves Vertical Roots Leafy Greens
- 4 slices Aged White Cheddar Cheese
- 4 4 Hayter's Farm Turkey Burgers
Instructions
- Combine Mayonnaise, Vertical Roots Canada Basil, Lemon Juice, and Garlic in the food processor and blend till combined. Set Aside.
- Grill Turkey Burgers, 5-6 minutes per side. Always cook to an internal temperature of 165F.
- Place Aged White Cheddar slices on each burger, and lower the heat on the grill, and allow the cheese to melt.
- Spread butter on both sides of the 4 Whole Grain Slider Buns, then sprinkle garlic powder on top of the butter.
- Place buns butter side down on the grill and watch until grill marks are apparent and buns are warm. Remove from the grill and place face up on a plate.
Build the Burger
- Spread Basil Aioli on every side of the buns.
- Top the sauce with a flame-roasted red pepper.
- Place a turkey burger on top of the red pepper, followed by a lettuce leaf, folded over to fit the space.
- Top the burger with the other side of the grilled bun and SERVE!
