On The Go Falafel Pita

Local Ingredients, Farm fresh greens and herbs, and a cheat from Costco will have you eating fresh in no time!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Whole Wheat Pitas
  • 4 Hannah Organic Falafel (link below)
  • 1/4 cup Tzaziki
  • 1/4 cup Hummus
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup diced grape tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 Large Vertical Roots Leafy Greens Leaves
  • 2 sprigs Vertical Roots Dill

Instructions
 

  • Heat the Hannah Organic Falafels in an air fryer or microwave.
  • Heat the whole wheat pitas when the Falafels are done and ready to serve.
  • Spread Hummus on the bottom of each pita, followed by Tzatziki.
  • Take the leattuce leaves and place each one on top of the spreads.
  • Place 2 Falafels in the centre of each pita, and smash with a fork or spoon. This allows them to spread out and be part of each bite.
  • Sprinkle cucumber, tomato and red onion on top of the Falafels.
  • Top with dill and eat like a taco! ENJOY!
