
On The Go Falafel Pita
Local Ingredients, Farm fresh greens and herbs, and a cheat from Costco will have you eating fresh in no time!
Ingredients
- 2 Whole Wheat Pitas
- 4 Hannah Organic Falafel (link below)
- 1/4 cup Tzaziki
- 1/4 cup Hummus
- 1/4 cup diced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup diced grape tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 Large Vertical Roots Leafy Greens Leaves
- 2 sprigs Vertical Roots Dill
Instructions
- Heat the Hannah Organic Falafels in an air fryer or microwave.
- Heat the whole wheat pitas when the Falafels are done and ready to serve.
- Spread Hummus on the bottom of each pita, followed by Tzatziki.
- Take the leattuce leaves and place each one on top of the spreads.
- Place 2 Falafels in the centre of each pita, and smash with a fork or spoon. This allows them to spread out and be part of each bite.
- Sprinkle cucumber, tomato and red onion on top of the Falafels.
- Top with dill and eat like a taco! ENJOY!
