On The Go Falafel Pita
Local Ingredients, Farm fresh greens and herbs, and a cheat from Costco will have you eating fresh in no time!
- 2 Whole Wheat Pitas
- 4 Hannah Organic Falafel (link below)
- 1/4 cup Tzaziki
- 1/4 cup Hummus
- 1/4 cup diced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup diced grape tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 Large Vertical Roots Leafy Greens Leaves
- 2 sprigs Vertical Roots Dill
Heat the Hannah Organic Falafels in an air fryer or microwave. Heat the whole wheat pitas when the Falafels are done and ready to serve.
Spread Hummus on the bottom of each pita, followed by Tzatziki.
Take the leattuce leaves and place each one on top of the spreads.
Place 2 Falafels in the centre of each pita, and smash with a fork or spoon. This allows them to spread out and be part of each bite.
Sprinkle cucumber, tomato and red onion on top of the Falafels.
Top with dill and eat like a taco! ENJOY!
