Vertical Roots Canada Farm Builder

We are a vertical hydroponics farming company looking for a farm builder that can grow into a lead position for multiple farm builds and create a long-term career. A “jack of all trades” is an ideal candidate who has experience with plumbing, and building, is good with tools, and is eager to learn. Must be able to travel as potential farms for 2024 are in Saskatchewan and Ontario. We are looking for a leader, someone who can take direction and work with others well. Must have your own vehicle, a clean driving record, be over 25 and have character references.

Applicant Qualities: 

• Must be reliable, Consistent in attendance and punctuality.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with 3-year clean driving abstract.
• Ability to communicate with the Manager and other staff as well.
• Ability to learn quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible for multiple tasks required
• Weekday and weekend availability
• Strong ability to work alone as well as with a team, self-motivation.
• Keeping a positive work environment.
• Excellent people and communication skills, outgoing and friendly.
• Experience with tools and having your own helpful but not required. 
• Must be willing to travel 6-8 weeks at a time.
